The TXC-4M is a new 1/18 crawler from Traxxas, built from a clean sheet instead of on the TRX-4M. It sits on a monocoque chassis that Traxxas says is lighter and more rigid than a traditional ladder frame, so it tracks straight even under extreme articulation. Placing the electronics and suspension on that chassis gives it forward weight bias and a lot of ground clearance. It runs 3S brushless power and comes ready to drive with a 3S LiPo and charger in the box.
The TRX-4M is the crawler we sell the most of in this shop. If you already run one and want more climbing ability in the same small size, this is the truck to look at.
It comes in five colors: Blue, Pink, Green, Orange and Tan.
What's Built In
- Monocoque chassis: One rigid structure instead of a ladder frame, with no chassis flex.
- 3S brushless power: A 3S brushless speed control with three drive profiles. Sport is full forward, brakes and reverse. Trail, the factory setting, adds drag brake at neutral. Crawl gives hill hold at neutral and immediate reverse.
- Portal axles: The TXC-4M rides on portal axles.
- Competition-grade steering: Traxxas's words for it. The tight steering radius makes it easy to drive indoors.
- GTM Pro shocks: Oil-filled GTM Pro shocks in a lay-down layout, filled with 20W silicone oil from the factory.
- Stone Claw tires: New Stone Claw tires from Traxxas.
- Water-resistant electronics: The installed electronics are water resistant. The truck is not submersible, and wet runs need extra cleaning afterward.
- Traxxas iD charging: The included iD balance charger reads the battery and sets the charge itself, with no settings to pick. It plugs into any USB-A port.

Worth Adding
- A spare battery: The stock pack is the Traxxas #2826 3S 250mAh iD LiPo. The speed control is built for 3S, so the 2S packs from a TRX-4M are not the right battery for this truck.
- A LiPo charging bag: We stock a LiPo briefcase storage bag.
