It is well known that by simply changing the carburetor, a Traxxas 3.3 nitro engine becomes much easier and consistent to tune. Not only that, but it also picks up a bunch of power!
The only problem is that the existing and well known options can be difficult to find in-stock and often sell for almost as much as the engine itself!

The JW Slide Carb for the Traxxas 2.5 and 3.3 engines is Made in Italy by Nova Engines exclusively for Classic RC Company.
This is the same race-winning and highly praised carburetor included with the JW12 Gas Truck Off-Road engines, except that it has been machined to properly fit the Traxxas 2.5 and 3.3 engines.
This carburetor is legendary for it's supremely stable idle quality and easy tuning. A removable venturi allows for adjusting the power delivery to your preference and application.
The included venturi is 7.5mm and different sizes and styles are available. The Nova Engines .21 venturi and low-profile aluminum venturis are compatible with this carb.
The REVO 3.3 will require trimming the venturi or the use of a low profile venturi.
