Gas Truck
Central
Nitro conversions, engines, and the parts that keep them running. Built, raced and supported out of one shop in Crestview, Florida.
Three house brands live here. This page tells you what each one can do for you today, and what it cannot.
Three brands, one roof
Ignite Design RC, Jimmy Rigged and Classic RC Engines are all Classic RC Company brands. Same shop, same bench, same phone number.

The conversion kits that put nitro power in electric trucks. Kits are out of production. Replacement parts, hardware and every conversion manual stay right here, and they are staying.

Parts we machine ourselves. The next conversion kit ships under this name, and so do the wear parts you already buy from us. Progress goes to the e-mail list before it goes anywhere else.
Our very own line of .12 and .21 engines, tuned pipes, carbs and rebuild parts. On the shelf and shipping today. Manufactured by Nova Engines in Italy.
Where the conversion kits stand
The Ignite conversion kits are out of production, and they are not coming back the way they were originally designed.
The reason is cost and time. Every kit required parts from a long list of suppliers located all over the world, and many of the off the shelf parts required to complete the original design are now either prohibitively expensive or flat out discontinued. The cost of the materials and individual components now exceed the retail price of the kit, and that is not a business I can keep running.
A successor to the Ignite kits is in development, and it is nearing completion. It is a simpler design, cheaper to produce and far quicker to pack. After living with the Ignite kits for 4 years, I had a long wish list of changes and improvements. Very little from the original kits survived, so the new kit has a new name: Jimmy Rigged.
The primary goal of the new name is to help differentiate which version you have and what fits it. A new brand name is a lot more descriptive than the cryptic V1, V2, V3 designations that don't tell you anything about compatibility.
The consumables are a different story, and this is the important part if you already own a kit. Clutch shoes, brake pads, air filter elements and the rest are moving to the Jimmy Rigged name, and they are backwards compatible. The Ignite parts that wear out are not going away. The discontinued parts will remain available through a special order program.
I am not putting a date on any of it, because I do not have one yet. When I do, the list hears first.
Not sure what you are running? Call the shop or bring it by. We will look at it with you.
