Team Associated's reissue of the Yokomo YZ-10 is a faithful recreation of the car in its original competition configuration: 2-belt drive, double wishbone suspension, G10 chassis, and fluid-filled gear differentials. This is a full kit build, so you assemble every piece yourself, which means you also get to know every piece. If you raced or wrenched in the late '80s, this is going to feel like a reunion. If you're newer to the hobby, this is a clinic in how top-tier 1/10 scale 4WD off-road design was done before electronics did all the thinking.

The YZ-10 runs a shorty battery layout and accepts a 6-cell NiMH saddle pack or a 2S LiPo, keeping the weight centered and the CG low. Aluminum cast front and rear gearboxes, aluminum bulkhead, motor mount, rear hubs, and steering knuckles give you the kind of durability that earned this chassis its reputation on the world stage.
