Vehicle Compatibility
  • Traxxas Slash 2WD

Transform your high-riding Slash 2WD into a track-ready cornering machine with the official Traxxas Low-CG Conversion Kit.

The standard Traxxas Slash 2WD is legendary for its durability and high ground clearance, but when you hit the clay track or high-traction asphalt, that high center of gravity can lead to traction rolls. This complete conversion kit lowers the chassis, battery, and electronic components by over an inch (33mm) to dramatically improve cornering speed and stability.

Engineered specifically for the 2WD Slash, this kit maintains the legendary toughness of the original platform while optimizing weight distribution. By lowering the heaviest components closer to the ground, you will experience sharper turn-in, faster cornering speeds, and a much more predictable feel through the corners.

Why You'll Love It

  • Drastically Lower CG: Lowers the chassis, battery, and electronics by over one inch to prevent traction rolls and increase cornering confidence.
  • Integrated Transponder Mount: Features a dedicated mounting boss for personal transponders, perfect for club racing.
  • Optimized Battery Position: Lowers the battery compartment to keep the heaviest component as close to the track surface as possible.
  • Complete Hardware Set: Includes all the necessary steering linkages, hardware, and structural plates for a seamless conversion.

What's In The Box

  • Low-CG main chassis (dark gray)
  • Lower top plate and front steering deck
  • Left and right nerf bars
  • Battery hold-down strap and retainer
  • Steering linkage and servo saver adapter
  • Installation hardware

Needed To Complete

  • Traxxas Slash 2WD short course truck (standard chassis version)
  • Basic hand tools for installation (hex wrenches and drivers)

Note: This conversion kit is designed specifically for the standard 1/10 scale Slash 2WD models. It will not fit 4WD models or Rustler/Stampede vehicles. Pro-Tip: While you have your truck stripped down for the chassis swap, it is the perfect time to clean and rebuild your shocks and check your transmission gears and slipper clutch for wear.
