The Mamba Micro X2 is a refresh of our popular 1:18 scale Mamba Micro X. This new ESC increases the maximum input voltage to 4s. We also added DATA LOGGING and our CRYO-DRIVE™ TECHNOLOGY; CryoDrive allows the ESC to run cooler and more efficiently at partial throttle. Like its predecessor, it is waterproof* and has SENSORED MOTOR SUPPORT (included 0808 is sensorless).

This is the perfect upgrade for 1:18 scale RC vehicles, up to 3S LiPo and weighing in at up to 2.25lbs. Vehicles include: Traxxas Slash 4x4 1/16th, Losi Mini-T 2.0, Traxxas LaTrax Rally, Traxxas LaTrax Teton, Axial Yeti Jr.
Important Product Update, 6/14/2023.
The internal BEC is back! All Micro X2s made on or after June 2023 will again have the internal BEC. You can check the date of manufacture on the side of the ESC box or on the ESCs receiver wire. ESCs made between August 2022 and May 2023 do not have an internal BEC and include an external 10-amp CC BEC; click here for more information.
The Mamba Micro X also works well in some 1:10th scale crawlers for low speed operation (no rock racing/hill climbing). You can now purchase the Mamba Micro X2 Crawler Edition ESC paired with our Slate Crawler motors.

Please read fully before using 0808 series motors in these vehicles.
The 0808-4100kv and 0808-5300kv can be used on 2s only in these vehicles. The 0808-8200kv is not rated for these vehicles.
Use of 3s or the 8200kv in these vehicles will void your warranty.
Shaft failures:
We have received an abnormally high number of shaft failures on the 0808 motors in the Arrma GROM vehicles.
After investigation, the root cause is due to improper gear mesh.
The stock motor mount is only designed to work with a 16T pinion (stock size). 2mm bore, 16T pinions are rare and hard to find.
Most users are picking up a 17 or 18 tooth and using it with the stock motor mount.
This results in a tight gear mesh and excessive side load on the motor shaft; this leads to the shaft sheering off.
If you use a pinion other than a 16T, you must use the optional motor mount package (ARA320744)
Or you can use an aftermarket aluminum motor mount with a slide adjustment; but proper gear mesh (lash) must be set or the shaft will break.
Shaft failures due to excessive sideload (tight gear mesh) are not a manufacturing defect and as such not covered by the warranty.
