Silicone inserts that replace tire foam outright: no waterlogging, no sag, steadier weight down low.
On the rocks, tire shape and weight bias decide more than tread does. These 2.2" silicone rubber inserts from Injora replace traditional memory foam, adding sidewall support and putting real weight low in the tire. Silicone doesn't absorb water, so creeks, mud, and snow don't leave you with soggy, unbalanced tires.
Two compounds are available: Super Soft (Green) and Soft (Blue). Mix and match to tune grip and support. Running a heavy hardbody? Blues in the rear carry the load, Greens up front keep articulation and bite on the rocks.
Why silicone over foam
- All-weather: waterproof, temperature-resistant silicone rubber won't tear, break down, or hold water like standard foam.
- Built-in counterweight: adds weight inside the tire, lowering center of gravity for steep climbs and off-camber lines.
- Sidewall support: keeps a heavy rig from folding the tire over when the line gets sketchy.
- Tunable: Green (Super Soft) for compliance on lighter rigs, Blue (Soft) for heavier builds that need more support.
