Sometimes the best upgrades happen by accident. When our laser engraver blew a lamp, we couldn't run our classic black and gold cooling heads for this batch of JW12s. Instead of putting production on hold, we made lemonade out of lemons and created the B.L.E.—officially the "Black Limited Edition," but around the shop, we call it the "Broken Lamp Edition."
To make this limited run legitimately special, we didn't just change the cooling head colors to a crisp black and white. We went deep inside the block. This .12 mill features a hand-modified crankshaft to optimize timing and fuel flow, paired with a high-end ceramic rear bearing for frictionless, screaming RPMs. Built specifically around the torque demands of 1/10 gas stadium trucks, this 5-port engine delivers the bottom-end snap you need to clear short-run-up triples, with the top-end overrev to pull away on the main straight.
